Foreign Ministers Of Austria And Uzbekistan Have Signed The Agreement On Security And The Fight Against Organised Crime

Austrian Foreign Minister Benita-Marie Ferrero-Waldner and Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov have signed in Tashkent the inter-governmental agreement on security and the fight against organised crime. The Austrian Foreign Minister spoke about it at a news conference on Friday. She said that her visit to Uzbekistan was "very fruitful and interesting." Answering the question about the anti-terrorist operation of the United States in Afghanistan, the Austrian Foreign Minister expressed the hope that this military action would not be long, but "it must be fruitful," she underscored. As RIA Novosti was told in the apparatus of the Uzbek President, on Friday Islam Karimov woukd meet with the Austrian Foreign Minister.
