Russian Parliamentarian Meets Icelandic Foreign Minister

Dmitry Rogozin, Chairman of the Russian State Duma (lower house of parliament) Committee for International Affairs, and Halldor Asgrimsson, Icelandic Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade, discussed cooperation between European countries and Russia in the struggle against international terrorism on Friday. According to the Russian parliamentarian, while talking to the guest from Iceland he noted that "Europe should look at itself more attentively because quite a few terrorist organizations were created in European countries". "A paradoxical situation has now taken shape: officers and soldiers are being recruited in some European countries to take part in the current counter-terrorist operation.
