We in Moscow are sure that this visit to Russia by Mongolian Foreign Minister Luvsangiyn Erdenechuluun will promote the strengthening of emerging positive trends in relations between the two countries, said Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, opening up negotiations with his Mongolian opposite number. The chief of the Russian foreign policy establishment noted that relations between two countries were on the rise in all directions -- political, economic and in Mongolia's cooperation with Russian regions. Igor Ivanov stressed that Moscow is interested in the development of "good-neighbourly, mutually advantageous and respectful relations with Mongolia". "We have a long frontier and it should always be a border of peace and cooperation", said Igor Ivanov.
