Russian Security Council Secretary Vladimir Rushailo has left for Warsaw to participate in the international conference on security and combatting terrorism. The Warsaw conference is expected to focus on the consolidation of international efforts on cutting financial support for different terrorist and extremist organisations. This was singled out as one of the top priorities at the recent Russia-EU summit. On arriving in Warsaw, Vladimir Rushailo will meet Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and heads of Polish law enforcement agencies, particularly, Marek Siwiec, the Chief of the Polish National Security Bureau attached to the President's Office. Representatives of 15 countries will participate in the conference, including presidents of some countries of the region.
