Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov and US Under Secretary of State John Bolton held an hour and a half meeting in Moscow on Tuesday. However, no details of their talks have been disclosed, RIA Novosti correspondent reports. Upon leaving the Russian Foreign Ministry building, the US diplomat refused to answer journalists' questions. Bolton and Ivanov were expected to discuss "key military and political issues and to focus on the interdependent problems of strategic offensive and defensive weapons in the light of preparations for the Russian President's visit to the USA," the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti prior to the meeting.
