Indian Prime Minister Describes His Visit To Russia As Very Successful

Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has described his visit to Russia as very successful. Vajpayee noted he had a profound discussion of bilateral regional and international issues with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. Russia and India have similar stances on major international problems, for instance, on the problem of terrorism, Vajpayee said. Vajpayee recalled that the declaration of strategic partnership had been signed during Vladimir Putin's visit to India last year. Now Russian-Indian relations are developing on this solid basis, Bihari said.
