Vladimir Putin Calls Russia's Actions In Chechnya Proper, Timely, Justified

Russia's actions in Chechnya are proper, timely and justified, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the annual meeting of the Armed Forces' top brass in the Defence Ministry. According to him, the analysis of the recent events and international terrorist acts testifies to the effect. No wonder that we have come across well-trained and mobilized terrorist detachments in Chechnya taking into account the terrorists' financial provision and our careless attitude to this problem for many years, the Russian President noted.
