Three journalists have died in Afghanistan -- a journalist of the Hamburg Stern Magazine and two French journalists -- German on-line media quoted the German Foreign Ministry as saying Monday morning. According to media reports, the Stern journalist and two French reporters, who were travelling with the Northern Alliance's troops, ran into an ambush set by the Taliban. A grenade blasted an armoured personnel carrier they were in. The Russian NTV television reported that the name of only one of the journalists has been identified. It is Johanne Sutton, an employee of the Radio France Internationale. The names of the reporters with the RTL TV network and the Stern correspondent have not been identified as yet. The total of six journalists working for different media outlets ran into ambush in the Northeast of Afghanistan. This is the first time that foreign journalists have been killed in Afghanistan since the military operation started.
