The structure of trade between Russia and Slovakia will be changed. Such an opinion was pronounced by Igor Shuvalov, head of the government apparatus and co-chairman of the Russian-Slovak intergovernmental commission for trade and economic and scientific and technological cooperation, while talking to journalists. Shuvalov took part in the Industrial Cooperation Between Russia and Slovakia conference held in Moscow Monday. The conference was organised within the framework of Slovak President Rudolf Schuster's official visit to Russia. Igor Shuvalov noted that the volume of trade between the two countries would amount this year to about USD 2.5 billion. Currently, 25 major projects in production sphere are being considered. Specifically, projects to repair machine-tool equipment, manufacture agricultural machinery, diesel locomotives and passenger carriages.
