Boris Pastukhov, the Head of the State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs and Relations with Compatriots, is expected to arrive on a visit to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi on November 16, the State Duma apparatus told RIA Novosti on Tuesday. Pastukhov is scheduled to meet representatives of the Georgian Parliament and government and to discuss the Georgian-Abkhaz settlement (Abkhazia is a self-proclaimed republic in Georgia) and Russian-Georgian bilateral relations. Representatives of Russian ministries and departments will accompany Pastukhov on his trip to Tbilisi.
