The embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Moscow announced on Friday that a delegation from the Republika Srpska (Serbian Republic) of Bosnia and Herzegovina will arrive in Moscow on December 18th on the invitation of State Duma speaker Gennady Seleznyov. The delegation will feature President of the Serbian Republic Mirko Sarovic, Vice-President Dragan Cavic, Prime Minister Mladen Ivanic and parliamentary speaker Dragan Kalinic. According to Bosnian diplomats, the delegation will hold meetings with Seleznyov, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, Patriarch of Moscow and All-Russia Alexii II, and the State Duma foreign affairs committee chairman, Dmitri Rogozin. They are also scheduled to meet representatives of the presidential administration and the defence and trade ministries. The meetings are expected to focus on prospects for trade and economic ties between the republic and Russia, as well as the present-day situation in the Balkans.
