Latvia would gain by Russian cooperation with Western countries, particularly with the USA, Foreign Minister Indulis Berzins told journalists Friday. "All countries will gain by Russian partnership with the West, including Latvia as a part of Western world and, simultaneously, a frontier country between Russia and the European Union, between Russia and NATO," he said. "This cooperation should result in restructuring international relations and a new system of security and stability in the world being established," leader of the left-wing opposition movement "For human rights in united Latvia", member of the Parliament, ex-minister of Foreign Affairs Janis Jurkans, told RIA Novosti correspondent .
