Moldova hopes the Big Treaty with Russia will be ratified by the end of the year, said Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin at a Tuesday press conference in Moscow. According to him, his visit resulted in signing a crucial treaty. Ratification of this document was discussed during the meetings between the president and the two houses' speakers. Voronin pointed out that there would be no problems concerning ratification of the treaty by Moldovans, since his faction had 70% of parliamentary vote. The Moldovan President neither ruled it out that the two countries' parliaments could simultaneously ratify the treaty. Voronin emphasized that the recently signed document would become a basis for further boosting of Russian-Moldovan relations in all spheres.
