Deputy Foreign Ministers Of Russia And Sweden Discuss Anti-Terrorist Activity

First deputy ministers of Russia and Sweden, Vyacheslav Trubnikov and Hans Dahlgren, met in Moscow on Thursday to discuss ways of combating international terrorism, reported the Information and Press Department of the Russian foreign ministry. According to a foreign ministry source, the Swedish diplomat welcomed Russia's principled approach to the anti-terrorist campaign in Afghanistan. Pointing out the similarity of positions on post-conflict settlement in Afghanistan, the sides agreed that the country's future socio-legal system should meet the interests of all groups and layers of the Afghan population, which they believe will help strengthen peace and stability in Central Asia.
