President Putin Gives Positive Appraisal To U.S.-Russian Summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a positive appraisal to the latest U.S.-Russian summit as he opened a meeting with members of the Federal Assembly's international committees in the Kremlin Thursday. To quote President Putin, "even with remaining differences on a number of issues, it can be said that a process is underway, of positive transformation of the relations between Russia and the U.S." However, the sides still have a long way to go, pointed out the Russian Chief Executive. Russia will continue working toward positive development, he assured.
