Russia and NATO will have to jointly set common goals, make common decisions and take joint efforts to implement these decisions, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov stated Friday on opening talks with NATO Secretary General George Robertson. "I believe that in this case we can work out adequate mechanisms of our cooperation," the minister stressed. Igor Ivanov expressed his confidence that the meetings and talks of the North-Atlantic Alliance Secretary General in Moscow will allow to promote cooperation between Russia and NATO and develop collaboration in the interests of common security and stability.
