On Friday George Robertson, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, has ended the three days of his visit to Russia. His plane has just left the Moscow airport Vnukovo-2 and is heading for Brussels. In the airport he was seen off by Yevgeni Gusarov, Russian deputy foreign minister, who oversees relations with European organisations. During his three-day Russian visit George Robertson met with President Vladimir Putin, had negotiations with the defense and foreign ministers, Sergei Ivanov and Igor Ivanov. NATO's secretary general also visited Volgograd, where he met with the regional authorities and was on the Mamayev Hill.
