Russian foreign minister Igor Ivanov and Antanas Valionis, Lithuanian foreign minister and chairman of the cabinet of the Council of Europe, are having a meeting in Moscow. The discussion is focusing on bilateral Russo-Lithuanian relations. While opening the meeting, Ivanov said that his Lithuanian counterpart would have the chance to meet officials of virtually all Russian ministries and departments cooperating with the Council of Europe. This will enable us to work out and coordinate a cooperation programme with a view to further making it as fruitful as before, said the Russian minister.
