Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold negotiations with his counterpart from Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov in Moscow today. The Turkmen leader will arrive in Moscow on a one-day official visit, the president's press service reported. They will negotiate regional problems and the situation in Afghanistan, in the first place. In addition, Putin and Niyazov will discuss problems of the Caspian Sea, economic relations between Russia and Turkmenistan and outlooks for their interactions within the framework of the CIS. At the end of negotiations the presidents are expected to sign a joint communique and some other documents.
