A Kirghiz governmental delegation is to discuss the expansion of mutual trade and economic and cultural cooperation between Kirghizia and the Russian capital in Moscow on Wednesday, the Kirghiz prime minister's apparatus said.
The Kirghiz delegation headed by First Vice Premier Nikolai Tanayev intends to discuss with the Moscow government the joint building of a Moscow City Hall residence at the shore of the mountainous Kirghiz lake Issyk Kul, holiday hotels for Muscovites and an international airport. The governments of Moscow and Kirghizia will also consider prospects for joint development of deposits of gold, stibium, tin and mercury.
They will sign several bilateral agreements in the spheres of tourism, ecology and environmental protection and education. The Kirghiz delegation will visit Moscow as part of the agreement on cooperation between the governments of Moscow and Kirghizia in trade and economic, scientific-technical, humanitarian and cultural spheres, signed in October 2000.
