IMF review of the Russian economic development will be positive, Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin told journalists Tuesday. The IMF mission, which has been working in Moscow since the beginning of December, is compiling a review of the Russian economy to reflect dynamics of all major macroeconomic indicators. Compilation of the review is the main task of the IMF mission. Touching upon issues of current cooperation between Russia and the IMF, Kudrin stressed that there are no plans to prepare any joint programme. Summing up the results of the meetings the sides stated that the Russian economy is a state which does not require IMF loans. Kudrin also reported that a final meeting with the IMF mission will be held Tuesday evening.
