Osama bin Laden with his family and closest associates flew from Afghanistan via Iran to an African country several weeks ago, reported the Pakistani ANI agency referring to the Afghan sources. The international terrorist No. 1 left the Tora Bora fortified region in eastern Afghanistan before the massive US bombings began, the agency reports. This is confirmed by an interview by the former defence minister of the Taliban Mullah Abdul Razzak who said that bin Laden left Afghanistan on November 26. Razzak referred to a telephone conversation with the spiritual leader of the Taliban Mullah Mohammad Omar who, allegedly, met with bin Laden near Kandahar before he flew via Iran to an African country.
