President of Yugoslavia Vojislav Kostunica awarded the crew of the Russian tanker for rescuing Yugoslavian seamen who were on board the commercial ship Med Trader last December. It sank in the early hours of December 8 near the Greek island Skiros in the Aegean Sea. The ship delivered metal structures from the Romanian port of Constantsa to Italy and got into a storm. The Russian tanker Braders was the first to come close to the sinking ship, and 11 Yugoslavian seamen were saved. Every member of the Russian tanker's crew was awarded with the order "For Distinguished Services for Yugoslavia", and the captain -- with "Love of Mankind Medal".
