Yugoslav Foreign Minister: All Those Suspected In War Crimes To Be Extradited To Hague Tribunal

Yugoslav Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic has declared that all Yugoslav citizens suspected of committing war crimes will be extradited to the Hague tribunal. In an interview with the Belgrade newspaper Blitz on Thursday, the minister announced that the extradition of such people "will be continued." The Yugoslav Foreign Minister recommended that those of his compatriots who are suspected of war crimes face the tribunal. According to the minister, "it would be better" for them. "Those who believe that some time later the suspected by the tribunal would face no trials and that they would be able to escape the due punishment are mistaken," Svilanovic said.
