Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Hugo Chavez of Venezuela held a telephone conference tonight to exchange opinions on global petroleum market developments. President Chavez thanked his Russian counterpart and the entire Russian top for constructive stances, which have largely helped to balance out petroleum prices.
