Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze does not rule out that "one of the key items of a future framework agreement on friendship and cooperation between Russia and Georgia will be the annulment of the visa regulations between the two countries. Eduard Shevardnadze spoke about it on Monday at a news briefing in Tbilisi. According to him, "it will take a month or a month and a half to complete drafting the Georgian-Russian framework agreement, after which it will be signed." The Georgian President also said that he repeatedly spoke about inexpediency of introduction of the visa regime.
