Israeli Air Force helicopters attacked several objectives in the Gaza Strip in the early hours of Saturday. Missile strikes have been delivered on headquarters of the Palestinian security forces and the Force-17 elite unit. No casualties have been reported, but several buildings have been seriously damaged. The town of Rafiyah and its vicinities have been left without electricity supply after one missile hit a transforming station. According to a spokesman for the Israeli Armed Forces, the attacks were a response to the continuing mortar shelling of Israeli settlements near Rafiyah. At least five mortar shells were launched on them last night. Two buildings have been damaged, including one kindergarten. No casualties have been reported.
