CIS experts, including Russian scientists, have published "The Atlas of Lithologic-Palaeographic, Structural, Palinspastic and Geo-Ecological Maps of Central Eurasia".
This is a unique research work, said Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Professor Igor Golovanov, chief official of the Research Institute of Mineral Resources of the Uzbek State Geological Commitee.
The atlas contains maps of the central part of Eurasia, with the total area of 7.5 million square kilometres.
Numerous maps reflect the geological structure, the history of development and the present-day condition of the environment.
