A working group of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries' border enforcement agencies is to hold a meeting in Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek on March 10-11.
Sources in the CIS Executive Committee disclosed the experts would finalize briefings for the meeting of CIS Border Troop Commanders' Council.
They will also talk about the Council's involvement in the implementation of CIS states' programs for the fight against crime and illegal traffic in narcotic drugs prior to 2004.
Participants in the meeting will evaluate the Council's 2002 record and the plan of measures toward the implementation of the CIS program designed to improve cooperation in the border enforcement sphere.
