The Fifth International School for settlement of conflicts "Terrorism - Prevention of Violence" began its work in Alma-Ata /Kazakhstan/ on Monday.
Within two weeks, students of the school will study and analyse the causes of terrorism, will scientifically classify its particular forms and characteristics in order to develop systems and measures to prevent this threat.
Speakers from Russia, Great Britain, Poland, Germany and Kazakhstan will deliver their lectures. The students of the school are working for the staff of the government structures, penitentiary facilities, science and research institutes and institutes of Central Asian countries.
The studying course is being held upon the initiative of the Kazakhstan Conflict Centre with the support of the German Embassy in Kazakhstan.
