Council of Europe to hold seminar "Human Rights and Armed Forces" in Moscow

The Council of Europe will hold an international seminar on the topic "Human Rights and the Armed Forces" in Moscow on December 5-7, said the press service of the Strasbourg headquarters of the Council of Europe.

The seminar is organised by Alvaro-Gil Robles, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, and the international affairs' committee of the Federation Council. Delegations of all the 44 member-states of the pan-European organisation will participate in the seminar.

The delegates are to discuss the observation of human rights in the Armed Forces of the member-states of the Council of Europe.

On December 7th, Alvaro-Gil Robles will sum up the results of the seminar and give a press conference.
