Leader of Latvian national-bolsheviks Vladimir Linderman put on international wanted list

Vladimir Linderman, leader of the Latvian national-bolsheviks, has been put on the international wanted list, Didzis Smitins, deputy head of the security police of Latvia, told journalists on Thursday.

According to information from the police, seven of Linderman's comrades - members of the Pobeda (Victory) organisation -- have been detained. One of them had to give a written undertaking not to leave the country.

The members of the organisation are suspected of keeping weapons and explosives, large quantities of which were discovered during searches of places of residence of the members of the organisation. The searches were conducted within the framework of investigations of the criminal case opened on evidence of the discovery in Riga of 5 kilos of trotyl and leaflets with subversive appeals in October.

According to the information from the Latvian security police, Linderman is currently in Russia.

The Russian papers coming out in Riga wrote on Thursday that on November 18th, he acted as witness for the defence at the trial of Eduard Limonov, Russian writer, national-bolshevik by conviction.
