Russia, U.S. Presidents call on Iraq to abide by disarmament obligations

Russia and the United States invite Iraq strictly and in keeping with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1441 fully and unconditionally to cooperate in fulfilling its obligations in the field of disarmament, or Iraq may be faced with serious consequences. This is said in a joint statement of presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and George Bush of the United States. The statement has been adopted on results of their meeting.

Russia and the United States call on Iraq in full measure and without delay to fulfil Resolution 1441 and the related resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, which were passed as the necessary step towards the ensurance of international peace and security.
