Russian Foreign Minister to participate in 57th session of UN General Assembly

Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Igor Ivanov will participate in the57th session of the UN General Assembly held in New York. As theInformation and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported,within the framework of the UN General Assembly session, the head of theRussian Foreign Ministry will hold negotiations with Afghani, Turkish,Spanish and Bulgarian Foreign Ministers. Ivanov will also visit theSaint-Nikolay Cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church in New York where amass for the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks will be held.The Russian Foreign Minister is also expected to take part in a mourningceremony of the terror attacks in the US that will be held by the New Yorkauthorities..
