Iraqi Foreign Minister arrives in Moscow with official visit

Iraqi Foreign Minister Naji Sabri has arrived in Moscow with an officialvisit. The head of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry's visit to the Russiancapital will last for two days. As it was reported by the Press andInformation Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the discussionsheld between the Iraqi Foreign Minister and Igor Ivanov, Russian ForeignMinister, will mark the next stage in the Russian-Iraqi consultations aimedat highlighting the countries' positions on a wide range of issues, firstof all, the outlooks of the situation around Iraq. The problems ofbilateral trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Iraq will beattached substantial importance during the negotiations. As it was stressedby the Russian Foreign Ministry, Russia sees only political and diplomaticway of settling Iraq's problem in line with the corresponding resolutionsof the UN Security Council. .
