The Russian Emergencies Ministry supplied the next portion of humanitarianaid to the northern provinces of Afghanistan. As the press service of theMinistry reported to RBC, three carriages delivering 15,000 liters ofsunflower oil, 30 tons of poultry, over 28 tons of canned vegetables and 5tons of broth concentrate, left for the Afghan city Hairaton. In the nearfuture, Russia will send 5,000 tons of food grains, bedding and warmclothes to Afghanistan by railroad.Within the framework of the international operation for renderinghumanitarian aid to Afghanistan completed in May 2002, Russia delivered16,500 tons of foodstuffs to the northern provinces of this country..
