As reported by the press service of the UN Association of Georgia, Mr. Narchemashvili and Valery Khaburdzania, Georgian Minister of State Security, have visited the Pankisi ravine. The ministers believe the operation goes ahead according to plans and the situation is entirely under control. 'We will go any place we want', Koba Narchemashvili was quoted as saying. At this time, there are 9 active military stations in the ravine and a total of 2,500 Georgia's interior troops that entered the area on August 25 in the afternoon.
