Maduro Holds Bolívar’s Sword and Warns Against US Intervention

President Nicolás Maduro declared that Venezuela stands ready to defend "every inch" of its territory during a public march named "March of the Banner and Sword of the Liberator Simón Bolívar" in Caracas, according to the British newspaper The Independent.

Venezuela’s Stance Against Imperial Threats

Holding the sword of Simón Bolívar, Maduro stated:

"We must be prepared to defend every inch of this blessed land from any imperialist threat or aggression, no matter where it comes from."

US Military Presence in the Caribbean

Earlier, The Intercept reported, citing sources, that the United States plans to maintain its heightened military presence in the Caribbean until November 2028.

Potential Covert Operations Against Maduro

On November 23, reports indicated that the US is preparing to move into a new phase of operations targeting Venezuela. According to US officials, these covert operations will constitute only "the first part of new measures against" President Nicolás Maduro, with discussions including potential attempts to overthrow him.
