The Kremlin says it has received no official information about the November 23 negotiations between Ukraine and the US in Geneva.
According to presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, Moscow has so far seen only public statements on the outcome of the Geneva discussions. He explained that the version of the peace plan the Kremlin had previously reviewed appears to have been modified during the talks.
“We have read the statements issued after the discussion held in Geneva. Some adjustments were made to the peace plan previously seen by us,” the Kremlin representative said, suggesting that it would be prudent to wait for the conclusion of the dialogue between Kyiv, Washington, and the EU.
Earlier, the outlet RBC-Ukraine, citing diplomatic sources, reported that the Ukrainian delegation managed to revise most of the points in Washington’s peace plan that Kyiv considered inconvenient during the negotiations with the US in Geneva.
