While meeting today in Moscow, Arkady Volsky, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE), and Ranjan Chatterji, Director of the Organisation to Support Trade of India, discussed the possibility the Union could participate in the organisation of the exhibition of India's goods in Moscow, in 2003.
According to the PR Department of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Indian party believes the RUIE may assist in the organisation of roundtables and seminars concerning bilateral cooperation and the development of business. Mentioned were, for instance, a seminar on banking and roundtables on informational technologies and tourism. Also discussed was a possible visit to India of a delegation of Russia's businessmen.
Besides companies representing traditional for India export areas, such as tea, tobacco, textiles, and pharmaceutics, the participants of the 2003 exhibition will include companies working in such spheres as informational technologies, tourism, gem cutting and polishing, jewelry production, and agricultural processing.
