Slovenian aircraft lands in Anadyr

A CH-60 two-seater, currently on a round-the -world flight, piloted by Matevz Lenarcic (Slovenia), landed at Anadyr airport (Far East) on Thursday, Viktor Vladimirov, the chief expert of the Dalareokontrol department of air traffic control, told RIA Novosti.

On Friday Lenarcic is to leave Russia and fly to Nom (Alaska) via the Bering Strait.

The aircraft left Moscow on July 12th. The pilot intended to make a start from Anadyr on July 23rd. However, the jet made an emergency landing in Yakutia because of repairs, Viktor Vladimirov said.
