On Wednesday, a delegation from Bashkiria (a republic in the Volga area) led by Prime Minister of the republic Rafael Baidavletov will visit in Germany the site where a liner of the Bashkir air company crashed. As a result of the collision of two aircraft on July 1st, 2002, near the township of Ueberlinger (Baden-Wuerttemberg Land) 71 people, mostly children, were killed.
RIA Novosti learned this from diplomatic sources in Berlin.
The program of the stay of the Bashkir delegation includes the laying of wreaths to the memorial place near Ueberlingen, a meeting with the participants in the quests, as well as with members of the government of Baden-Wuerttemberg Land - head of the Interior Ministry Thomas Scheuble and Minister of Ecology and Transport Ulrich Mueller.
In conclusion of the one-day visit the Prime-Minister of Bashkiria will present souvenirs and honorary certificates to representatives of the organizations which took part in eliminating the aftermath of the air crash.
In the afternoon the Bashkirian delegation will fly by a special flight from Stuttgart airport to Ufa, capital of Bashkiria.
