Fate of local residents and frontier guards who disappeared in the area of natural calamity is still unknown

An extraordinary meeting of the operative headquarters to eliminate consequences of the natural calamity, the coming down of the Karmadon glacier, completed its work in Vladikavkaz. Prime-minister of North Ossetia (a republic in the North Caucasus in the composition of Russia) Mikhail Shatalov reported that at the moment about 30 residents of the Nizhny Karmadon settlement buried by blocks of ice were considered to be missing but not yet dead. Also it is premature to talk about the film crew of Sergei Bodrov though, according to the premier, there were very few chances to save it.

Also communications were lost with two officers of the traffic police who accompanied the film crew and with two frontier guards of the Vladikavkaz detachment who disappeared in the natural calamity area.
