The Georgian Embassy in London officially confirmed the visa issuance for British John Scott, whose body was found yesterday at a place of armed clash between the Federal Forces and Chechen terrorists nearby the village of Galashki, Ingushetia. He was dressed in military camouflage and besides video camera had bullets for Kalashikov assault rifle. John Scott was a member of a terrorist formation, which invaded Russia from Georgia.
According to the consulate of the Embassy, the visa for John Scott was issued in May of this year. Scott presented a letter, signed by the director of the Front Line News agency, with a request to visit Georgia in order to cover the events in Georgia. The issued visa permitted Scott to enter Georgia two times and to spend there a time of no more than two months, the Embassy of Georgia stated.
