Milo Dukanovic, leader of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro, claimed that the country plans its common future with the EU and NATO.
Dukanovic stated while addressing his adherents that Montenegro would continue its way towards European future, and ratify Protocol on joining the NATO in some months as well as take decision on membership in the Alliance.
The Montenegrin PM also promised that during his being in office the government will complete talks on the country's joining the EU.
As Pravda.Ru reported, on 16 October parliamentary elections took place in Montenegro. 17 parties took part. According to preliminary data, the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro gained 36 seats out of 81.
While the opposition got 41 seats and plans to create a coalition and dethrone Dukanovic. Namely the group of Montenegrin oppositional parties stands against prompt joining of the NATO and plans to express opinion of the citizens via a national referendum.
