Programme of stay of Kuwait's National Assembly delegation in Russia

An official visit to Russia by a delegation of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, led by vice president Mishari Jasem al-Anjari, begins on Saturday. The Kuwaiti delegation arrives on official invitation from the Federation Council (the upper chamber of the Russian parliament).

The press service of the Federation Council reports that on October 14 the Kuwaiti delegation will meet with Gennady Seleznyov, chairman of the State Duma, and Dmitry Rogozin, head of the Duma international committee.

On the same day members of the delegation of the Kuwaiti National Assembly will have a conversation with Sergei Mironov, chairman of the Federation Council.

After that the Kuwaiti visitors will inspect the State Historical Museum "The Moscow Kremlin" and the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Academic Music Theater.

On October 15 the Kuwaiti delegation plans to have a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov.

On Wednesday, October 16, delegation members will meet with Mikhail Margelov, chairman of the international committee of the Federation Council.

On the next day, October 17, the delegation of the Kuwaiti National Assembly will go back to Kuwait.
