Russia starts two-day consultations in Geneva with members of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on Wednesday, reported the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
As the sources in this ministry point out, during these consultations, a number of interested members of the WTO plan to discuss with Russia questions concerning the development of the Russian agrarian sector and also access to the Russian agricultural market.
After the two-day consultations on Friday, November 1, the Working Group on Russia's Entry into the WTO will meet for an informal session in Geneva at which its participants will receive the second wording of the Group's report drafted by the Russian side.
When drafting this report, the Russian side took into consideration the inquiries of a number of the WTO members who expressed interest in specifying the conditions of access to the Russian market.
The report of the Working Group is one from the main package of documents which Russia will approve at the concluding stage of its joining the WTO.
