Pakistani newspaper "Frontier Post" reported, referring to unidentified diplomatic sources, that the international "terrorist No. 1" Osama bin Laden escaped from Afghanistan and is hiding now in his father's native land - in the remote Hadhramaut region in the south of Yemen.
According to the same sources, in the last weeks, the American and Israeli intelligence sharply increased their activities in that region. The newspaper reports that the leader of al-Qaeda was indeed hiding in Tora Bora underground cave network in the southeast of Afghanistan when the American air strikes hit the area. However, according to the newspaper, the terrorist network mastermind not only survived, but also managed to escape the capture because the sweeping operation in the caves started with a long delay. It allegedly gave him the opportunity to leave this area of Afghanistan that borders with Pakistan.
The recent appearance of new interviews with bin Laden on Qatar-based "Al-Jazeera" TV channel, which allegedly had been recorded in Afghanistan, is a mere attempt to conceal the real location of the terrorist mastermind.
