A 15-story hotel in Changsha, China, was built in six days. The Level 9 earthquake-resistant, sound-proofed, thermal-insulated building was made with prefabricated construction modules.
The Ark Hotel, constructed with optimal energy, material and time savings, was reportedly not only more efficient but cheaper to make. Industry experts said there was only 1 percent construction waste.
The sustainable hotel already had its foundation so construction workers only took 46 hours to finish the building using pre-fabricated columns and modules as well as modern construction techniques. Once the main structural components were completed, only another 90 hours were required to finish the building enclosure, according to Gant Daily.
The hotel was established by using a particular technology for example can withstand earthquake shocks to 9 on the Richter scale, an anti-sound, and made from materials which are all made in factories. This project is called the Ark project.
Despite the frenzied construction of hotels and bustle that matchless, but reportedly no worker who suffered wounds or injuries. In fact, the process of making the hotel is also environmentally friendly, so just throw a few remaining building materials, Brandimposter.com reports.
