Jackson’s Will Found

Michael Jackson's family had believed that he died without a will, but their lawyer said one had now been found. He also suggested there may be other wills in existence relating to the division of the singer's estate.

L. Londell McMillan, the family attorney, said: "My clients are now aware after filings that a will has been presented. His various advisers are looking for additional documents.
"I just saw the will for the first time this morning. We are in the process of reviewing it. We wish we had known about it earlier,"  The Telegraph reports.

Michael Jackson wanted his mother to take care of his three children. According to the Associated Press, the King of Pop declared his mother, Katherine, should get custody of his three children - Prince Michael, 12; Paris Michael Katerine, 11; and Prince Michael II (a.k.a., Blanket), 7 - and orders that his assets be placed in trust, a source told the news wire service, New York Daily News reports.

As for Michael’s father the will excludes him. Jackson and his father's relationship was famously tempestuous. Joe Jackson has also been criticised by fans of the singer for talking about his fledgling record company in press conferences following his son's death, NME reports.
